Job summary

Qualifications

• Assoc. degree or 48 college credits required or passing WorkKeys/NC programs.
• Associate's Degree with a concentration in Education is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with elementary age children.

Responsibilities

• Assist children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and on field trips.
• Enforce school policies and rules set by administration.
• Discuss duties with teachers to coordinate instructional efforts.
• Instruct and monitor students in use of equipment to prevent injuries.
• Observe performance and record data to assess progress.
