Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, mentorship, and real-world skills for K‑3 students. As Program Director, you’ll own a cohort, coach Guides, and deliver focused workshops on life skills like public speaking and focus.

You’ll use performance data to drive progress, develop repeatable playbooks, and scale excellence as the team grows in a hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 5 years working with elementary-aged children.
• Proven leadership of teams of 5+ people, with hires/removals based on performance.
• Comfort with non-traditional teaching models and metrics-driven coaching.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and feedback.
• Lead one-hour live workshops for K-3 students on life skills.
• Run motivation sessions aligning goals with academic progress.
• Build playbooks turning best practices into repeatable systems.
• Train Guides on playbooks and model excellence in facilitation.
