Qualifications

• Hold a valid Arizona Teaching Certificate.
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience with exemplary evaluations.
• Dyslexia Training Designee Certification or willingness to obtain within one year of hire.
• Expertise in MTSS for literacy intervention.
• Demonstrated success in early literacy instruction, supported by evaluations and data.

Responsibilities

• Supports site and district administration in implementing professional development.
• Delivers targeted Tier II and Tier III reading interventions.
• Collaborates with the K-3 Literacy Team.
• Provides regular updates on K-3 student progress.
• Analyzes assessment data to inform strategies.

Skills

Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate

Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience

Valid Reading Endorsement or Valid K-5 Literacy Endorsement

Dyslexia Training Designee Certification

Familiarity with Move On When Reading (MOWR) legislation

Expertise in Multi‑Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)

Proficiency in 21st-century instructional technology

Demonstrated success in early literacy instruction

Deep understanding of the Arizona Academic Standards

Proven ability to collaborate effectively

Strong foundation in curriculum, instruction, and assessment

Experience working with diverse student populations

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Expertise in research-based best practices in language arts

Education

Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
