Job summary

Math Corps, powered by Ampact, is seeking Math Tutor volunteers to work in schools across Minnesota. You will tutor groups of up to three students for 20–30 minutes, support students during transitions back to class, and help track progress with a school coach.

AmeriCorps members receive a biweekly stipend, health insurance eligibility, child care assistance, and federal education benefits. Training and ongoing coaching are provided.

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance and reliable in daily routines.
• Able to follow instructions and implement feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to support students.
• Track student progress and meet with onsite coach regularly.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into data software.
• Commit to growth through coaching and training.
• Share experiences with the community.
