Ampact’s Math Corps seeks a Math Tutor to mentor students at a local school, delivering structured 20–30 minute math sessions in groups of up to three. Training and coaching are provided, with opportunities to share progress and contribute to the program’s impact.

Responsibilities include leading sessions, tracking progress, and coordinating with an on-site coach, while contributing to a supportive learning environment for students’ growth.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a consistent attendance history.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to provide support.
• Track student progress and meet with the on-site coach regularly.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
