Job summary

Ampact is seeking tutors for the Math Corps program to support students with math skills at local schools. Tutors will conduct small-group sessions, follow a 20–30 minute schedule, and track progress with an on-site coach. Training is provided to help you deliver proven activities.

You’ll join a nationwide AmeriCorps tutoring initiative, with opportunities for stipends and education awards. Applicants should be 18+, have a high school diploma, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Fluent in English in speaking, reading and writing.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
