Job summary

Math Corps is seeking a dedicated Math Tutor to work with groups of students in a school setting, delivering structured tutoring sessions and tracking progress with the on-site coach. You’ll help students build math skills and confidence through guided practice.

The role includes attending coaching sessions, following the tutoring schedule, and reporting outcomes. This AmeriCorps position offers a stipend and education benefits as part of a supportive program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
• Able to complete a background check.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule for student support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into data software.
• Commit to personal growth through coaching and training.
