Job summary

Green Acres Elementary in North Ogden, Utah seeks a PT Literacy Aide to support Grade K-3 reading through targeted, evidence-based interventions. The role aligns with the Science of Reading and includes updating individual reading plans and assisting with progress data and adjustments.

Work schedule is 5.75 hours/day, 28.75 hours/week, 180-day calendar with non-exempt status. This position supports teachers and participates in ongoing training while staying compliant with district guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead evidence-based reading interventions aligned with the Science of Reading for students with Individualized Reading Plans.
• Work closely with classroom teachers and the literacy coach to ensure interventions are delivered with fidelity and aligned with students’ IRPs.
• Assist with literacy building activities and strategies.
• Coordinate and communicate instructional plans, group movements, and schedules related to interventions.
• Monitor IRPs schoolwide and report progress to teachers and data teams.
