Job summary

Alpha is seeking motivated guides to join our campuses across the country. As a Learning Coach, you’ll keep the same group of 6-year-olds all day, guiding them through app-based core learning, literacy sessions, and life-skills workshops.

You will diagnose gaps, design short sequences, and monitor weekly app goals while staying with students from launch to closing. This is a full-time, on-site role with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; teaching certificate not required
• Master's in reading or literacy or equivalent
• Completed structured-literacy training: LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS, Really Great Reading, or similar

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning and closing gaps
• Running targeted literacy sessions for 2-4 students with a diagnostic approach
• Leading morning launches, life-skills workshops, and campus routines
• Driving weekly app goals with school currency, leaderboards, and gamification
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, and closing to support learning
