Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a Learning Coach to guide K-3 students through life-skills workshops and personalized coaching. You will use adaptive software and Coachbot analytics to support students, celebrate wins, and build confidence and resilience every day.

This full-time, on-site role is available across Alpha campuses with relocation options. You’ll help learners master communication, focus, and feedback while pushing toward ambitious weekly goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years of experience working with children ages 4-9 through teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or similar environments.
• Experience leading group activities for young children and keeping groups engaged.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging life-skills workshops for K-3 students to master communication, focus, feedback and other durable skills.
• Coach students one-on-one and in small groups using analytics and motivation systems to meet weekly goals.
• Assess life-skill mastery using Alpha's Test2Pass framework and coach until real understanding is demonstrated.
• Adapt coaching style to cohort developmental needs using varied activities like songs, movement, and storytelling.
• Build relationships that support students to stretch beyond perceived limits.
