Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required).
• Teaching certification required; bilingual certification strongly preferred (not required).
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet expectations.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Use formal and informal assessments to track student progress and update gradebook weekly.
• Communicate student progress with students and families weekly.
• Facilitate and utilize technology to improve student achievement and manage tasks.
• Implement a clear behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Help shape a school-wide culture fostering a productive learning environment.
• Establish cooperative relationships with students and families built on trust and respect.
• Host tutoring sessions as needed to meet students’ needs.
• Participate in weekly meetings and after-school duties; engage in ongoing professional development.
