IDEA Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. You will develop individualized plans, provide in-class support, and help students achieve academic goals across reading, writing, and math.

Collaboration with families and educators is essential to maximize student outcomes. The role requires a Texas teaching certification and a Bachelor’s degree, with a focus on creating inclusive learning environments and implementing state standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required)
• Experience in a Special Education classroom setting is strongly preferred
• Valid Texas state certification in Special Education (required)

• Adapt lessons to meet students’ needs and develop IEPs for a caseload
• Implement IEPs, assess progress, and track student achievement
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and staff to support student success
• Maintain accurate gradebooks and communicate progress weekly
• Utilize technology to support instruction and data collection
• Participate in meetings and after-school duties as needed
• Provide tutoring and enrichment support as required
