Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate's Degree or higher education equivalent.
• Associate's Degree with a concentration in Education.
• Two or more years of experience working with elementary age children.

Responsibilities

• Assists children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supervises students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, yards, gyms, and on field trips.
• Enforces school rules and policies during activities and transitions.
• Coordinates with teachers to plan instructional support efforts.
• Instructs and monitors students in the use and care of equipment to prevent injuries.
• Observes performance and records data to assess progress.
