Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirements: associate degree or equivalent per CMS policy.
• Desirable: associate degree in Education; 2+ years working with elementary age children.

Responsibilities

• Assists children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supervises students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, and on field trips.
• Enforces administration policies and rules governing students.
• Coordinates duties with classroom teachers to support instructional efforts.
• Instructs and monitors students in use and care of equipment and materials.
• Observes performance and records data to assess progress.
