The Academic Coach role is full-time, on-site, with relocation support. You will work with K-3 students, diagnose reading gaps, and guide app-based learning through daily routines from launch to closing. A structured-literacy background and hands-on coaching with young learners are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working directly with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, or similar settings
• 2+ years of experience coaching reading in K-3 in the last 5 years
• Structured-literacy training (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS) or master’s in reading/literacy
• Bachelor’s degree in any subject; teaching certificate not required

Responsibilities

• Get K-3 students to daily learning goals and close reading gaps
• Lead short structured-literacy sessions with small groups
• Provide on-site coaching from launch to closing and maintain daily goals
• Diagnose decoding gaps from running records and fluency probes
