Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day to accelerate learning, with a focus on small-group reading workshops for K-2 students using structured-literacy methods. You will lead sessions rooted in live performance data and guide students toward weekly targets through engaging activities.

This full-time, on-site role requires certification in structured literacy or a Master’s in reading instruction, plus a track record of K-2 instruction and data-driven planning.

Qualifications

• Certification in structured literacy or a Master's in reading instruction is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of full-time K-2 structured reading instruction within the last 5 years.
• Ability to design original reading lessons and articulate instructional approach with data-informed decisions.
• On-site work at one Alpha campus: Phoenix, AZ; OK; TX campuses including Fort Worth, Dallas, Plano or The Woodlands.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate small-group K-2 reading workshops rooted in structured-literacy principles, informed by live data
• Run daily motivational sessions to help students meet weekly adaptive-app targets
• Conduct running records, fluency assessments, and decoding measures to monitor progress
• Analyze AI-generated student performance data to differentiate instruction
• Be an engaging and approachable adult for K-2 students in the classroom
