Job summary

Alpha reimagines traditional schooling with AI-adaptive platforms. You will conduct structured-literacy instruction for K-2 students, building small-group workshops and data-informed lesson planning to drive progress.

A focus on engaging, developmentally appropriate teaching, with on-site work in multiple campuses. Certification or degree in reading instruction is required, with strong literacy credentials centerpiece.

Qualifications

• Certification in structured literacy OR a Master’s in reading instruction.
• Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years of full-time K-2 reading instruction in past 5 years.
• Ability to design original reading lessons and articulate instructional approach.
• Ability to assess reading progress with concrete improvements.
• On-site availability at a specified Alpha campus.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate small-group K-2 reading workshops based on structured-literacy principles.
• Lead daily motivational sessions to help students meet weekly app targets.
• Conduct and evaluate running records, fluency and decoding measures.
• Analyze AI-generated student performance data to differentiate instruction.
• Be the engaging adult your K-2 students are excited to work with daily.
