The role emphasizes a dynamic presence and on-site work at one Alpha campus. Requirements include certified structured-literacy training or a Master’s in reading instruction, plus a Bachelor’s with 2+ years of K-2 experience.

Qualifications

• Structured-literacy certification OR a Master's degree in reading instruction
• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of full-time K-2 structured reading instruction in school or clinical environment
• Ability to design reading lessons independently without a published program
• Willingness to work on-site full-time at one Alpha campus: Phoenix, AZ; OKC/Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, Fort Worth, Houston or Plano, TX; Park City, UT; Dorado, PR (relocation available)
• Willingness to work with all K-2 students and to incorporate AI/adaptive-learning platforms

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate small-group K-2 reading workshops rooted in structured-literacy approaches using live data
• Conduct daily motivation sessions to drive 100% of students to meet weekly adaptive-app targets
• Run and interpret running records, fluency probes, and decoding assessments to refine instruction
• Analyze AI-generated performance insights to differentiate instruction dynamically
• Be the approachable, energetic adult your K-2 students are eager to see daily
