Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day with AI-adaptive literacy platforms and small-group workshops. We are seeking a Guide to lead structured-literacy instruction for K-2 students on-site at multiple campuses, including Phoenix, OKC, Tulsa, Dallas, or Park City, with relocation assistance.

Key qualifications include structured-literacy certification or a Master's in reading instruction, plus two years of K-2 instruction. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Structured-literacy certification (Orton-Gillingham, LETRS, Wilson, IMSE, CERI, Neuhaus, UFLI, or equivalent) OR a Master's degree in reading instruction.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline, plus at least 2 years of full-time K-2 structured reading instruction within the last 5 years in a school or clinical environment, using systematic phonics or structured literacy.
• Proven capacity to design original reading lessons and clearly articulate instructional content and methods, independent of published programs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Creating and facilitating small-group K-2 reading workshops rooted in structured-literacy approaches, informed by live performance data.
• Conducting daily motivation sessions to drive weekly adaptive-app targets using Alpha's framework.
• Delivering and evaluating running records, fluency assessments, and decoding probes to monitor progress.
• Analyzing AI-generated performance insights to personalize instruction dynamically.
• Engaging as a high-energy, approachable adult in daily classroom interactions.
