Job summary

Alpha is seeking a full-time Reading Coach to guide K–2 students using structured-literacy frameworks. You’ll design small-group workshops, drive motivation sessions, and analyze live performance data to tailor instruction.

You’ll work on-site at one Alpha campus with relocation assistance available. A Master’s or certification in structured literacy is required, plus 2+ years in K–2 instruction. Compensation is $100,000/year, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Structured-literacy certification OR Master’s in reading instruction required.
• 2+ years of full-time K-2 structured reading instruction in past 5 years.
• Ability to design reading lessons from data; no scripted curriculum.
• In-person, full-time at a campus; legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate small-group K-2 reading workshops using structured literacy.
• Lead daily motivation sessions to meet weekly adaptive-app targets.
• Run running records, fluency and decoding diagnostics to track progress.
• Analyze AI-generated insights to differentiate instruction in sessions.
• Be the engaging, approachable adult for K-2 students every day.
