Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K–12 students in Arvada, CO. This full-time, 1.0 FTE position welcomes CFs and offers mentorship, solid benefits, and a standard school-year schedule.

Responsibilities include therapy provision, assessments, IEP development, and collaboration with teachers and families to promote skill carryover. Licensure in CO and CDE certification are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado State SLP license or ability to obtain
• Colorado CDE Certification or willingness to obtain
• CFs encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
