Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) for in-person school-based positions in Port Orchard, Washington. Positions are available as full-time or part-time for the 2026-2027 school year, starting ASAP, with compensation up to $70 per hour.

The role offers collaboration with a special education team and K–12 students, focusing on student-centered care. W-2 employment with benefits included for 0.8 FTE or higher, along with CEU/licensure reimbursement and retirement

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• ESA certification or willingness to obtain.
• State OT license in WA or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in school-based OT is a plus but not required (new grads welcome).
• Insurance and retirement benefits offered for 0.8 FTE or higher.
• W-2 employee status.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver direct therapy services to students in a school setting.
• Collaborate with special education staff, families, and other service providers.
• Write and maintain accurate IEP documentation, progress reports, and service logs.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning.
• Manage and prioritize caseload effectively.
