Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time occupational therapist for an elementary school in Port Orchard, Washington, for the 2026-2027 year. This in-person role provides 7.5 hours per day and supports students’ growth and independence within a collaborative educational team.

You will deliver direct OT services, develop and monitor IEP goals, complete evaluations, and advise teachers and families. Compensation ranges from $35.00 to $65.00 per hour, with healthcare benefits and housing

Qualifications

• WA ESA certification required.
• Current WA OT license required.
• Fingerprinting with OSPI completed.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy for elementary students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct OT services to elementary students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals with educational teams.
• Complete thorough evaluations and maintain detailed documentation.
• Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff on OT strategies.
• Engage with families to support student progress and school participation.
• Participate actively in multi-disciplinary meetings and educational planning.
