Cornerstone Academy in Westerville, Ohio, part of ACCEL Schools, seeks an experienced School Counselor to support student success through a comprehensive counseling program addressing academics and social-emotional development.

The counselor will coordinate assessments, participate on IEP teams, monitor interventions, and collaborate with teachers, parents and community resources, with trauma-informed care preferred and Ohio certification required.

Formación

• Graduate degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field.
• Valid State of Ohio certification as school counselor.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a school counseling role is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a comprehensive, ongoing school counseling program for students.
• Arrange initial assessments; participate on IEP teams as appropriate.
• Develop and refine the behavior management system; monitor interventions.
• Coordinate with teachers, parents and community resources to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and student progress tracking.
