Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking an experienced School Counselor for Cornerstone Academy in Westerville, Ohio. You will foster student success, deliver preventive services, and implement a comprehensive counseling program for academic and personal development for all students.

Responsibilities include coordinating interventions, participating on IEP teams as appropriate, and collaborating with staff and families. A trauma-informed approach and strong communication are preferred in a fast-paced urban

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field.
• Valid State of Ohio certification as a school counselor.
• Must demonstrate mastery of all areas of counseling responsibility and be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive school counseling program for student academic and personal/social development.
• Coordinate, monitor and report student interventions.
• Serve as liaison with teachers, parents, and outside resources to support student success.
