Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a licensed social worker to support K-12 students in in-district classrooms or standalone schools. The role focuses on counseling and collaboration to help students overcome challenges and thrive.

You will provide individual and group counseling, participate in IEPs/BIPs, assess needs, implement behavioral supports, and partner with families and school teams to drive positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• Must hold professional licensure (LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMHC).
• 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents in school, special education, or behavior health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Provide individual, group, or counseling services per IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs, including social-emotional IEP goals and meeting participation.
• Complete social-emotional and behavioral assessments and develop related plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies to maintain safety.
• Support social-emotional learning through targeted curricula and supports.
• Collaborate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Maintain documents in student files per regulatory requirements.

Education
