Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a licensed social worker to provide school-based counseling to diverse students requiring additional supports within K-12 settings.

The role involves developing social-emotional goals, collaborating on IEPs, and delivering counseling services aligned with IEP/BIP plans. The position requires LMSW licensure and a Master’s degree in social work or related field, with experience in school, special education, or behavior health settings

Qualifications

• Professional LMSW licensure required.
• Master’s degree in social work (MSW) or related field.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling to students per IEP/BIP.
• Collaborate on IEPs including social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments and develop BIPs and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Coordinate with external partners to support students and families.
• Maintain student records per regulatory requirements.
