Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to support K-12 students in a school-based setting in Virginia. The role offers flexibility to work onsite or virtually for the 2026/2027 school year.

You will assess needs, develop therapy plans aligned with IEP goals, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure holistic student support while maintaining proper documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state or eligible for licensure.
• Prior school-based experience is desirable.
• Ability to tailor therapy plans for K-12.
• Excellent communication with educators, families, and students.
• Comfort with technology for documentation and virtual therapy.
• Commitment to an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of students' physical abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for coordinated support.
• Provide direct and consultative PT services onsite or remotely as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports per school policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and advise on student supports.
