Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Washington state is seeking a school-based Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year near Tacoma. This full-time, onsite role supports K-12 students with a manageable caseload of 25-30 and runs Sept 9, 2026 to June 16, 2027.

You will assess, treat, develop PT plans, participate in IEPs, collaborate with educators and families, and document services in compliance with state and district guidelines. Onsite only; remote not available.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Physical Therapist license or willingness to obtain.
• Completion of OSPI fingerprinting or willingness to be fingerprinted.
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting preferred.
• Strong collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals.
• Comfort managing K-12 caseloads with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive assessments, direct treatments, and consultative services to students across all grade levels.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, set goals, and track student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate school staff and families about strategies and accommodations that support student success.
• Document services and maintain compliance with state, federal, and school district guidelines.
