Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a contract physical therapist to provide services to K-12 students for the school year and beyond, working with a supportive multidisciplinary team to promote independence and participation in learning activities. MA licensure is required; school-based or pediatric experience is preferred.

You will develop and implement IEPs, collaborate with teachers and families, track progress, and document outcomes while maintaining compliance with district and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy license in Massachusetts (PT MA credential required)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong collaborative abilities and organizational skills
• Comfortable developing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to create accessible learning environments
• Set and track individualized goals for students; monitor progress and document outcomes
• Educate and support school staff and families on therapy strategies
• Maintain compliance with school district and state/federal regulations
• Work across grade levels (K12), adapting approaches for different ages and abilities
