Job summary

Point Quest Group is recruiting for a Paraprofessional to provide instructional assistance in K-12 settings, conducting assessments and supporting therapy to improve communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri ETS ParaPathways assessment or 60 hours of college credit.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Criminal Background & Fingerprinting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work with small groups of students in an instructional capacity.
• Assist and provide support for students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to reinforce learning concepts.
• Assist in maintaining appropriate classroom environment to ensure a safe and positive learning experience.
• Monitor individual students in the classroom, library, or during playground activities to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
• Monitor and assist students during various classroom activities (art, literacy, bathroom, fine motor skills).
• Maintain confidentiality in all correspondence and communications.
• Support special needs learners and modify instruction as directed.
• Assist in maintaining appropriate student conduct.
• Maintain discipline in the absence of the teacher.
• Perform other related duties as assigned/required by teacher(s), site, or district administrators.
