Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional in Apache Junction, AZ to support students with significant needs in a collaborative school setting. You will assist with academics, communication, and daily living skills, following individualized education and behavior plans under teacher supervision.

This full-time role offers a steady school-year schedule, W-2 employment with liability insurance, and opportunities for mentorship and growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with significant support needs or disabilities preferred.
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow individualized education and behavior support plans.
• School-based or paraprofessional experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with significant support needs
• Assist students with academic activities, communication, and daily living skills as needed
• Implement behavior support plans and instructional strategies under the direction of the classroom team
• Support students with mobility, transitions, and classroom participation
• Reinforce social, emotional, communication, and functional life skills
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and related service providers
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
• Maintain basic documentation as needed
