Job summary

Mooresville Graded School District is seeking a Network Engineer to monitor, manage, and maintain the district’s LAN/WAN and related technology infrastructure. You will work with the Senior Network Engineer and District staff to install, configure, and support network hardware, security, and services across district facilities.

The role requires independent work, strong communication, and experience with Cisco/Meraki networking, Google Workspace for Education, and Active Directory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience in a school district or enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture and network protocols.
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki networking environments.
• Proficient in Google Workspace for Education and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Support Cisco and Meraki networking environments.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and software.
• Provide technical assistance to district employees and users.
• Contribute to network security, backups, and documentation.
