Job summary

Heartwood Community School is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (26-27 SY) to support teaching and daily operations. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, manage school devices, and maintain data systems to enable informed decisions.

The role focuses on secure, reliable technology with dashboards and reports to help leaders monitor progress. The position is part-time (approx. 30 hours/week) for a 12-month calendar, with a salary of $65,000.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Experience providing technical support in a school or customer-service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows, ChromeOS, macOS, Google Workspace for Education, and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with student information systems and educational technology platforms (e.g., PowerSchool, Clever, ClassLink) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support to staff and students by troubleshooting hardware, software, and technology-related issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the school's technology infrastructure, including networks and classroom equipment.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for leadership to monitor progress and inform decisions.
• Manage school-issued devices and technology inventory.
