Job summary

Alpha School is hiring a Youth Program Manager to lead a focused team of Guides, coach a culture of excellence, and drive student success across campuses.

As a Lead Guide, you’ll coach Guides, run life skills workshops, and motivate students toward ambitious learning goals, using data to measure performance and drive improvements. This is a full-time W2 role with benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance-based termination decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5–14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental setting.
• Willingness to work on-site at Alpha campuses and relocate to listed markets.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Lead engaging life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for 5–14 year olds.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed academic programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence and continuous improvement.
