Job summary

Mastery Schools seeks a Data Systems Analyst to configure, maintain, and support Mastery’s data systems across campuses. The role ensures data accuracy, develops documentation, and trains users for consistent usage.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Technology, the DSA supports operational and analytic needs, with opportunities to work on dashboards and data quality initiatives across the network.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with MS Access and SQL Server.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve user-reported problems.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and a desire to expand Excel proficiency.
• Effective organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line user support, including training and help-desk services.
• Maintain Mastery’s information systems (student information system, gradebooks, assessment platforms, HR, and IEP management software).
• Support the implementation and rollout of new systems and initiatives.
• Lead or assist with ongoing operational tasks, including student scheduling.
• Assist in producing recurring analyses, reports, and dashboards.
• Support data quality efforts by helping to develop and enforce data entry standards and protocols.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks on data across Mastery’s information systems.
