Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Sales Engineer focused on the SLED K-12 sector to partner with K-12 Account Executives and serve educational institutions within your region. You will evangelize, position, and architect Rubrik's data protection and cyber resilience platform to meet the unique data security and budget needs of schools.

You'll provide technical leadership, deliver live demos, support solution design, and qualify opportunities based on customer requirements and public-sector funding cycles.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of sales engineering experience
• Experience with public sector, local government, or K-12 IT environments and procurement is highly desirable
• Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, cyber resilience, backup/disaster recovery, and data analytics

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Rubrik's data protection and cyber resilience platform to SLED/K-12 customers.
• Deliver technical and sales presentations and live product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with account executives, channel partners, and internal teams to drive regional revenue and technical engagement.
• Qualify opportunities based on customer requirements, competitive landscape, and funding cycles (e.g., E-Rate).
