Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead pre-sales activities for SLED customers across New York and Pennsylvania. You will architect cyber resilience solutions, validate technicals, and present to state and education leaders, partnering with account teams to drive regional revenue.

The role requires strong public sector procurement experience, multi-cloud knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple POCs and workshops with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in the SLED/public sector.
• Strong technical foundation in cyber resilience, backup/recovery, multi-cloud architectures.
• Experience addressing public sector procurement, RFPs, and executive-level decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to SLED customers and partners in NY/PA.
• Architect and demonstrate Rubrik cyber resilience solutions for state agencies and districts.
• Lead technical discovery, architectural workshops, product demos, and POCs for public sector.
• Partner with SLED Account Executives to qualify opportunities and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Deliver technical and executive presentations to C-level and IT leadership.
• Serve as an internal SME on public sector compliance, cloud architectures, and security tech.
• Build relationships with channel partners and system integrators in NY/PA region.
