Job summary

Charles Perry Partners, Inc. (CPPI) seeks an experienced K-12 Project Manager to oversee the delivery of K-12 educational construction projects in Florida.

The role involves managing all phases from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with school districts, owners, architects, and field teams to ensure budget, schedule, quality, and safety targets are met. You will lead project teams, manage contracts, procurement, and documentation, and uphold a strong safety and quality program

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing K-12 educational construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Experience working with public-sector clients, school districts, and educational institutions.
• Proven ability to lead project teams, field personnel, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of educational facility construction, including new construction, renovations, occupied campuses, and phased construction.
• Proficiency with project management, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage K-12 educational construction projects from preconstruction through final project closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for school districts, owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with superintendents and field leadership to establish site logistics and phasing for occupied campuses.
• Support preconstruction activities including scope reviews, estimating, value engineering, and procurement.
• Monitor project financial performance through cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
