Job summary

Charles Perry Partners, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager (Assistant to Senior) to oversee K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and coordination with owners, districts, universities, architects, and subs to deliver safe, on-time projects. Responsibilities include site logistics, procurement, value engineering, and ensuring compliance with public procurement rules while maintaining strong client relationships for future

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience leading K-12 and/or higher education projects.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM, Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Experience with public-sector clients (school districts, colleges, universities).
• Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with PM, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting software.
• Commitment to safety and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead K-12 construction projects through all phases from preconstruction to closeout.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, districts, universities, architects, and subs.
• Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and overall project execution.
• Develop site logistics, phasing, and construction sequencing for occupied campuses.
• Direct preconstruction activities including estimating support and value engineering.
• Monitor financial performance through forecasting and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and public procurement regulations.
• Maintain safety and risk management focus on active educational environments.
• Oversee QA/QC and manage change orders and contract modifications.
• Coordinate closeout activities, turnover, and warranty documentation.
