Role: K-12 Construction Project Manager
Location: DFW Metroplex

Overview
We are partnering with a well-established DFW-based General Contractor to hire two experienced K-12 Construction Project Managers due to an active and growing education project pipeline. These are urgent hires supporting large-scale renovation and addition projects, including work valued at $35M and $100M.
This opportunity is ideal for Project Managers with strong experience delivering K-12 projects in occupied campus environments, particularly complex renovations.
Responsibilities
- Manage K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead large-scale renovation and addition projects on active school campuses
- Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and change management
- Work closely with Superintendents to manage site execution and schedules
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure scope and quality alignment
- Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, architects, and district stakeholders
- Lead project meetings, reporting, and documentation
- Ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on K-12 construction projects
- Strong background in renovation and addition work (not solely ground-up)
- Experience managing projects typically $20M+ in value
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and scheduling
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience working in the DFW construction market preferred
