A well-established General Contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a ground-up K-12 project in Fort Worth. The Role:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Manager and site team to help deliver a ground-up K-12 project from start to completion. You’ll be involved in coordinating subcontractors, managing project documentation, tracking budgets, and ensuring the project stays on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing day-to-day project operations
  • Support the Project Manager with budgeting, scheduling, and reporting
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Monitor project progress and help ensure timelines are met
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements:
  • 2–5 years of experience with a General Contractor
  • Previous experience working on K-12 or education projects (ground-up preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office
