Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson, Inc. seeks a Project Executive to lead our Midwest k12 education division’s project management activities in Bloomington, MN. You will guide large-scale projects, align with AP strategy, and manage budgets, schedules, and teams for profitable outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety culture, staffing, and business development with strong client relationships and a focus on K-12 facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience or 12+ years with an associate degree.
• 4+ years of people management experience required.
• Advanced proficiency with scheduling, cost control, and project management software including Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, and other construction programs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Provide leadership to ensure projects are timely and have quality results.
• Develop, manage, and retain a best in class Project Management department.
• Lead new project marketing efforts and client development.
• Oversee budgets, pre-construction, construction, and project teams for cost control and profitability.
