Job summary

Bentonville Schools is seeking a Building Tech Support in the GR 5-12 range at Lincoln Jr. High School. Under the Director of Technology, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all district hardware/software systems to support staff and students.

Responsibilities include assisting with installation/configuration, daily operations, verifying functionality, and tracking inventory in the helpdesk system. Travel to district locations is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2) Industry certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Cisco) preferred.
• 3) Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC, laptop and mobile hardware/software.
• 4) Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair district hardware/software systems.
• Assist staff and students with hardware/software installation, configuration and usability.
• Verify functionality of hardware and software components.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and by phone.
• Assist staff and students with hardware/software problems and answer questions.
• Track inventory and progress in helpdesk/asset management software.
