Job summary

Covelo Group in Concord, CA is hiring experienced Behavior Technician Floaters to support K-12 students across multiple campuses. This district-wide float position means you'll be assigned to different school sites based on staffing needs, not a permanent campus.

You’ll provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support, implement BIPs, IEP goals, and 504 accommodations, collect data, and collaborate with teachers and specialists.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience as a Behavior Technician (BT) is required.
• Experience supporting students with behavioral challenges and implementing BIPs/IEP goals.
• Ability to adapt to new school environments with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation to travel to district school sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to K-12 students.
• Travel to assigned school sites based on daily district staffing needs.
• Implement BIPs, IEP goals, and 504 accommodations.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and classroom expectations.
• Collect behavioral data and document student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to support student success.
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms, students, and school routines while maintaining consistent support.
