Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Floater Behavioral Aide to support students with behavioral and learning needs across multiple Sacramento schools. You’ll reinforce positive behaviors, assist with individualized learning plans, and travel to sites to ensure coverage.

The role emphasizes adaptability, proactive support, and data tracking to monitor progress. A valid driver’s license and 18+ years old are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and reliability are essential.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of IEPs and BIPs with individualized instructional assistance.
• Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way) within the region.
• Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT and CPI techniques.
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation, and breaks.
• Engage students in recreational and educational activities and track data.
