Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Experience working with children/adolescents in school or clinical settings, preferably with behavior management.
• Knowledge of behavior intervention practices, positive behavior supports, and evidence-based strategies for social/emotional/behavioral skills deficits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify conditions associated with behavioral challenges.
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with significant behavioral issues.
• Provide direct support and coaching to students in managing behavior and emotions.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address classroom management and behavior-related concerns.
• Coordinate with external agencies to access additional student support as needed.
• Provide training and professional development for staff on behavior management strategies.

Education
