Job summary

Rite of Passage Team is seeking a Juvenile Support Worker at the Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center in Nashville, TN. You will oversee safety and daily care for youth aged 12-18, provide mentoring, and assist with education, recreation, and treatment plans.

Earn $20.50-$21.50 per hour with 4 days on/3 off, guaranteed overtime; $1000 sign-on bonus after completing ROP Core Practice training (90 days). Benefits include medical, dental, vision and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass criminal background check, drug, TB tests, and abuse registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person safety and security around-the-clock.
• Attend to physical, personal and health needs of youth via mentoring and skill development.
• Monitor and document behaviors and activities; support educational, social, athletic and recreational programs.
• Collaborate with staff to meet each youth's treatment plan goals.
