Position Summary

We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician at Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center in Nashville, TN, an affiliate of Rite of Passage.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day upkeep and repair of residential units and facility spaces.
• Complete work orders.
• Perform general building maintenance, lighting, basic electrical, and HVAC‑related repairs.
• Assist with troubleshooting and routine HVAC maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, and lighting.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Ability to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Must meet requirements for ROP‑eligible driver, including an active driver’s license.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

Pay

$22–$30 per hour based on experience.
