Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Juvenile Corrections Security Officer - Entry Control in Columbia, SC to manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access at a government juvenile justice location. This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and a customer-service oriented approach.

Minimum 6 months of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and other authorized individuals.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, and entry requirements.
• Monitor entry/exit points, alarms, cameras, and other access-control systems; report issues.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances following established procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned access points and surrounding perimeter.
